gedit 100% cpu bug.
by AK ~ November 7th, 2008. 12:35 PM.. Filed under: Linux.Since upgrading to Gnome 2.24, gedit has been hanging on launch and taking around 30 seconds to become responsive. A work around, while waiting for the bug fix, is to disable the ‘File Browser Plugin’ under Edit > Preferences > Plugins.
