I was born of Mancunian parents in the 60’s and apart from the first 6 years of my life have lived in the Manchester area ever since.
Computers and I crossed paths in 1979 when I was at UMIST studying CNC during my last year of an engineering based apprenticeship.
I’m currently using Archlinux as my desktop O/S.
Music is a big part of my life. My teenage years were in the 1970’s and the musical backdrop for me in that era was;
Bolan.
Bowie.
Roxy.
Stooges.
MC5.
New York Dolls.
Velvet Underground.
Punk. (Pistols, Buzzcocks, Clash, Damned, Joy Division (Warsaw))
Later, in my 20’s, the Hacienda, acid house and the Stone Roses.
If, by chance, you’ve landed on this site looking for guns and related stuff then you’re going to be disappointed. The nickname AK47 is a relic of the Quake and QuakeWorld wars of 1996-1998 and by 2002 had materialised into this domain name.
