This evenings televised debate.

As the theme for this evenings debate is the economy I would like to ask Brown the following.

1. What was the primary cause of the £167 billion deficit?

2. Why was it allowed to happen?

3. Who, or what, is responsible for it? Individual(s) or Government policy?

4. What is being proposed to ensure this never happens again?

5. Finally on this issue. Just what exactly do you propose to do in the way of cuts to combat this deficit? (Hypothetical as I very much doubt you will be around on the political scene post election.)

I would then put questions 4 and 5 to Clegg and Cameron.

Last but not least another one for Brown. Not really a question, more in the way of criticism of his ridiculously deluded belief that the state = economy.

Where is the logic in claiming that anyone who advocates scrapping, or indeed reducing, the proposed 2011 national insurance rise would be taking money OUT of the economy? Surely the very act of taxation is taking money OUT of the economy? By reducing taxation you leave money IN the economy because it stays in the pockets of the employers and employees.

That’ll do for now. Soon I’ll detail my plans for the reformation of our antiquated electoral system and the two houses of Parliament.
