Lots and lots of snow here today. It started snowing yesterday evening and hasn’t stopped since. So far a foot of snow has fallen, that’s 30cm in that new metric rubbish. 
I doubt very much that the current conditions, here up north, will get no more than the merest of mentions in the national media news as this is not London. Unlike London we don’t grind to a halt at the mere sight of a snow flake, we just get on with it as best we can.
A special mention here for the pillock who lives on Avondale Cresent. Thank you very much for clearing your driveway and piling the snow up onto the pavement, thus making it even harder for folk to pass your house on said pavement.
