The sacking of Mark Hughes.

What I object to is the manner of Mark’s dismissal.

It is now obvious that this had been planned for sometime. By letting sparky carry on for the Sunderland game just made the whole thing feel like a public hanging. He deserved better and should have been judged at the end of the session.

Certain people in the hierarchy of the management are guilty of subterfuge and any City supporter reading this will know who I mean.

The part of this that I really do not like? The new assistant manager, also announced as soon as Mark was sacked, Brian Kidd. Kidd has been working with our youth / academy teams since September and must have been approached prior to Marks dismissal thus, I imagine, would have known what was going on. Will the first team squad trust him? I know I wouldn’t.

As for the statement by the club last Saturday. It reads like an announcement from a business and not a football club and that, I’m afraid, is what my City have become.

My City doesn’t exist anymore and I don’t like what has replaced it. Glory hunters they will attract, if they ever win anything, genuine supports they will loose.
