My activation date for my move to a LLU DSL connection was last Friday, 4th.
At 11:00 that morning I had to go out and did not return until 18:00 in the evening. When I left everything was still working DSL wise but not when i returned at 18:00. I came home to not only no DSL but I also had a non working telephone, no dial tone, stone dead. More deader than a dead thing that is dead as Baldrick would say.
Great, no DSL, no phone. I know I’ll ring support. Bollocks, support is 9-5 Monday to Friday so I’ll have to sit it out until Monday when I can rip someone a new arse hole.
Enter stage left, Saturday 14:00, when all miraculously started working.
I’ve since created a support ticket detailing the above, in a less sarcastic and polite manner of course, and received the following reply.
HI
it sounds like the BT engineer was proballly an unskilled individual.
any way good to know you are now online
Well done for stating the fucking obvious Sherlock, plus, you really should enable your spell checker while you’re at it. Now go take a long walk off a short pier you piss taking muppet. Before you do go get me someone who can explain why I was without a telephone service for 24 hours.
How is the connection? It’s fine, syncs at 10meg which is a considerable improvement when measured against the poor BT ADLS2+ effort of 6meg.
