Tomorrow, 2nd December, the Winter Hill transmitter will cease broadcasting all analogue signals so don’t forget to retune your Freeview boxes/TVs.
My activation date for my move to LLU dsl is this Friday, 4th. I’m staying with my current provider, the Entanet reseller ADSL24, as they now resell various LLU options, C&W in my case.
At the moment I feel that a wet piece of string would be preferable to the farce that has become Entanet/BT’s shoddy attempt at ADSL2+. On top of that is the recent, “10% of users using 90% of the bandwidth” issue.
Take this afternoon as an example. I got home around 4 pm ish and my connection was very sluggish. After looking at the 21CN interconnect status my node, Manchester, was at 96%.
So fingers crossed for this Friday. Bye bye BT’s poor 21cn and their dire dsl profiling system and Enta poor traffic management. (Lack of B/W more like)
