I’ve waited a few years for this result, thankfully not all 75 of them. 
Fred. What can I say that already hasn’t been said today? An awesome display of hostile controlled fast bowling the likes of which I’ve not seen from an Englishman for a while.
Sinking to one knee with arms open wide facing the crowd and revelling in the moment at the fall of the ninth wicket. An iconic moment. This wasn’t a man soaking up the adulation of the crowd, this was a many revelling in the glory of what he does best, terrorising Australian batsmen.
The 3rd test at Edgebaston in 10 days time might see some changes for England. Bopara hasn’t impressed me so maybe Ian Bell might get a call up. Likewise if KP is unfit.
Broad hasn’t bowled well at all. He’s getting little or no movement and still insists on bowling too short. His attempts at bouncers are just a waste of a ball as he’s neither fast enough or accurate enough.
I wouldn’t be surprised if both Harmison and Sidebottom are recalled.
