It’s been a while since I posted a pic of how the new development is going, so here’s one taken earlier today.
According to the local rag Sainsbury’s will start kitting the place out in March with an opening scheduled for sometime in May. I guess the new library will be on a similar schedule.
No word yet on who will be filling the new retail units.
28 new modern shop units including up to five restaurant/café bars.
Like we need more bars and restaurants. There’s already that many we’re falling over the damned things.
If anyone from Aldi is reading this take the hint.
The old Woolworths store here in Urmston would make a cracking Aldi. It would save me traveling to Altrincham once a week.
I know the opening of Sainsburys will be 24 June, not May. I know because 3rd Davyhulme will be playing on that day, Gareth plays for them.
How are you? Did Ross get in touch with that bloke in Rochdale re job, he never got back to Denis on how he did.
I know Sainsburys opens on the 24th June. I was at the meeting last March that the manager of the new Sainsburys also attended.
More to the point. What’s with the posting comments on a 5 month old blog post?
You always were a bit slow.
Well….only found out thru 3rd Davyhulme. Anyway you still haven’t got back to me with my question “Did Ross get in touch with that block in Rochdale re job? I know the bloke rang Ross, what happened?
1. I don’t track 6 month old posts for comments, hence the lack of reply.
2. You of all people should know I don’t discuss personal / real life stuff through this media.
3. Pick the phone up or pop round or at the very least try that 30+ year old technology called E-Mail.
Only then will you get an answer.
