Is there a case to argue that the 5% rate of V.A.T. current charged on domestic gas and electricity bills here in the UK is extended to petrol and diesel? Currently the duty paid on fuel in £0.5035 per litre and on top of this is 17.5% VAT tax on the tax!!!!
